Laura Linney was one of the best American actors of recent times. Her savacious and flimsy roles have earned her a cult famous. She was raised by a single, unmarried mother who worked as a nurse. Linney became interested with theatre in holidays with her father, who was famous. She studied acting at Brown University, and later at Juilliard School. After graduating from Brown University in the year 2000, she began her Broadway debut shortly thereafter. In the space of two years from this, her first feature film came out and the next year her TV debut. She has been featured on a number of stages, films and television shows since that time. There have been numerous awards in her long career. These include four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, three Academy Award Nominations, and five Tony Award Nominations. Yet, despite numerous awards acting has been her primary passion and she continues to perform both on stage and screen.
